배가 고파!
송충이는 솔잎을 먹어야 살지 갈잎을 먹으면 죽는다.
송충이 옆에 한우 갈비를 아무리 쌓아 놓아도 송충이는 말할 것이다. “배 고파 배 고파!”
우리는 복음을 양식으로 섭취해야만 살 수 있다.
복음 외에 다른 것을 먹으면 허기짐으로 인한 고통을 겪을 수밖에 없다.
성경 읽기가 복음 읽기가 되어야 한다. 즉 성경 속에서 복음을 보지 못하면 우리는 영적으로 굶주리게 된다.
복음이란 예수님을 통해 하나님이 우리의 저주를 청산하고 우리 안에 새 생명을 창조한 진리가 그 핵심을 이룬다.
예수님에 관한 진리를 복음적으로 이해하고 깨달을 때 우리 안에 영적 부요함과 시원함이 경험된다.

The caterpillar must eat pine leaves to survive, and if it eats oak leaves, it will die.
No matter how much prime beef ribs are piled next to the caterpillar, it will still say, 'I'm hungry!'
We must consume the gospel as our spiritual nourishment to live.
If we eat anything other than the gospel, we will only experience the pain of hunger.
Reading the Bible should become reading the gospel.
In other words, if we do not see the gospel within the Bible, we will spiritually starve.
The gospel, centered around Jesus, constitutes the truth that God, through Jesus,
redeems our curse and creates new life within us.
When we understand and realize the truth about Jesus in a gospel-centered way,
we experience spiritual richness and refreshment within ourselves."
