선택의 자유
동물과 인간은 여러 면에서 차이가 있다.
그런데 그 중에 하나가 선택의 자유다. 동물은 본능을 따라 움직인다.
반면에 우리는 본능의 영향을 받기는 하지만 의지적인 선택에 의해 행동한다.
거듭나기 전 우리는 동물적인 본능, 부패한 본성의 지배를 100% 받았다.
하지만 거듭난 후에는 새로운 본성이 우리 안에 침투했다. 전에는 부패한 본성의 영향에서
벗어날 수 없었지만 지금은 새로운 본성, 곧 하나님을 지향하는 거룩한 의지의 영향 하에서 산다.
우리에게는 선택의 자유가 있다. 하나님은 우리가 후회 없는 선택을 하도록 그의 아들 예수님을 세상에
보냈다. “내가 너희 가운데 왔으니 나를 선택하라. 내 입에서 나오는 진리를 선택하라.
그리고 나를 누리라.” 우리는 지혜로운 선택을 해야 한다.
Freedom of Choice
Animals and humans differ in many ways.
However, one of the significant distinctions is freedom of choice.
Animals move according to instinct, whereas we act based on conscious decisions influenced
by our will.
Before regeneration, we were fully governed by animalistic instincts,
by the dominion of corrupt nature.
However, after regeneration, a new nature has infiltrated within us.
Previously, we couldn't escape the influence of corrupt nature,
but now we live under the influence of a new nature,
namely the holy will inclined towards God.
We have the freedom of choice. God sent His Son, Jesus Christ,
into the world so that we can make choices without regret. "I have come among you,
so choose me. Choose the truth that comes from my mouth.
And enjoy me." We must make a wise choose.
